Chosen by the capricious finger of fate, Abe™, a floor cleaner from the Hostile Farms, was catapulted into a life of adventure when he witnessed the plans his boss, Molluck the Glukkon™, had to turn Abe and his Mudokon comrades into meat delicacies, as part of a desperate attempt to enhance Molluck's dying meat empire.
During his escape from the Hostile Farms, Abe had a vision of the mysterious Big Face, who showed Abe that he must not only rescue his fellow Mudokons, but also protect all the creatures of Oddworld from the voracious Magog Cartel.
