R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy video game set in the classic World War II setting. It was published by Ubisoft. The title focuses on the Nazi German invasions up to 1945. The campaign includes both real and fictional historical events. In the campaign, the United States is the only playable faction, but other factions are available in the game. These include the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Italy, Vichy France, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Japan. Each faction has its own unique characteristics that make it strong or weak against the others. For example, the United States has very fast units and powerful aircraft, while the Germans stand out for their armored vehicles (heavy tanks).
